Please read the following, by submitting this form you are agreeing to the following:

• This is a fun ride, not a race
• Minimum age is 14 for the big and medium rides. All under 14?s must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
• We strongly advise that cycling helmets should be worn.
• Make sure your bike is well serviced before the ride.
• If unsure about your fitness, consult your GP first. If you feel unwell during the ride, stop and inform a marshal.
• Participants take part entirely at their own risk; DURHAM BIG RIDE accepts no liability for any injury or damage caused during the event.

• You must obey all Highway Code Rules.
• Minimum age 16 for the "Beast" Those aged between 16 and 18 must be a member of a cycling organisation and provide details of this organisation. This is a challenging 50 mile route comprising a number of hills and descents and the majority of the route is on roads that contain live traffic. You are advised to only participate in the "Beast" if you are a competent, experienced and capable cyclist.
